Gentlehorse Training fees:


$1050.00
per month includes everything: training, board / feed, paddock turnout, lessons 2x weekly, practice supervision, show coaching, professional atmosphere.

 

 

 

Training without lessons or show coaching.

$850 per month includes: Training, Board with Hay, paddock turnout, Professional Atmosphere.

 

Equine Aptitude/Skill Assessment

$75 per horse (fee waived with 30 day training contract): Our professional Training Staff will groom, tack, physiology check on your horse. Groundwork and work under saddle included for maximum skill assessment and aptitude. Recommendations made accordingly.

 

Riding Instruction Information

Our English Riding Program combines calvary, dressage, jumping and english equitation. The student will be instructed in the Gentlehorse method on the ground, and learn to become a dynamic team of horse and rider. The goal is to increase your communication with your horse, through improved riding ability, and clearly define his responses to your demands. This education will enhance competition or recreation performance. Winning Edge Tutorials also available by request.

Better Riders Equal Better Riding Horses !

The Western Riding Program offers classes in Western Pleasure, Western Equitation and Hackamore reining principles while learning the Gentlehorse groundwork method. The California equitation seat is stressed. Leg cues, quiet hands and teaching the horse to work from his hind quarters through collection. Trail training, for safe, enjoyable trail riding or Winning Edge Tutorials also available by request.

To Improve your Horse, Improve your Self.

Students are expected to arrive at the barn in enough time to be ready and mounted by their scheduled lesson time.  You will be expected to prepare and tack your mount as part of your learning process. Assistance will be provided when necessary.

What to wear

Proper attire is required.  An approved riding helmet with secure chinstrap is necessary at all times.  Shoes with a heel or riding boots, breeches or comfortable pants and a shirt that can be tucked in are required during lessons.  Young ladies with long hair will be asked to secure it in a ponytail on and off the horse. ALL Students are REQUIRED to wear approved riding helmets while mounted. In addition, each student is REQUIRED to fill out and sign a liability waiver prior to taking lessons.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation of lessons MUST be made as follows:

Phone by 8pm the day prior to a morning lesson.

Phone by 12pm the day of a lesson scheduled for after 1pm.

Lessons not canceled as above, WILL be billed to your account.
